B-Corp Certified since 2018
Experience Momentum became a Certified B Corporation in 2018. “B Corps” are a new type of company that uses the power of business to solve social and environmental problems. B Corp certification is to business what Fair Trade certification is to coffee or USDA Organic certification is to milk.
Experience Momentum was certified by the non-profit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. We’ve evaluated how our practices impact our employees, our community, the environment, and our customers.
Today, there are over 2,200 Certified B Corps around the globe, including Patagonia Clothing Company, Athleta, Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream, and Warby Parker. We are proud to join them in redefining success in business, so that one day everyone uses business as a force for good. To learn more about our certification, check out our B Corp profile.
As a small business located in City Center, Lynnwood and Fremont, Seattle we are proud to also be the first Physical Therapy clinic and CrossFit gym to be a B Corporation. Becoming a B Corporation has been one of our key objectives to demonstrate our commitment to the community we serve, the staff members we support, and the environment we use. While 2018 is our inauguration into the B Corporation family, Experience Momentum is committed to continually evolve to become our best in every facet we operate.
Great credit for this achievement must be provided to our community for challenging us to be our best selves. To our staff for always seeking to understand and maintaining the expectation of who we, Experience Momentum, say we want to be. To the leadership staff of Experience Momentum who take on the burden of the unknown and give all of themselves to achieve new heights even when no end is in sight. And, to our founders Shanon & Kelly Tysland who show up every day to inspire each one of us to create a life that inspires us while redefining what is possible. Without your vision, courage, and effort the movement to experience momentum in one’s life would have never taken flight.
