Refreshing Mango Avocado Smoothie

1/2 cup mango, frozen or fresh
1/2 of a small avocado
1 handful spinach
1 tsp. honey (optional)
1/2-1 cup of water or milk of choice
Handful of ice cubes
Put all ingredients in a blender and enjoy as a nice refreshing summer treat!
RD Tip: Mangoes are in season!! They are a great source of vitamin C, A, B6 and dietary fiber. The avocado and banana in this smoothie, make it an extra smooth consistency! If you are looking to add a little more protein, you can add some plain Greek yogurt, or a scoop of protein powder.
