Stoke High, Purpose Higher: A Night to Remember at the Winter Stoke-Off Party

Not long ago, our Fremont space came alive with chalked hands, warm muscles, pizza and local beverages, fresh coffee samples, the sound of wax scraping off the bottom of freshly tuned skis, and a shared love for winter. The Winter Stoke-Off Party brought together athletes, adventurers, and community partners for an evening that blended movement, connection, and climate action—all in support of Protect Our Winters (POW).

From the first rep to the final raffle ticket, the energy never dipped—and we’re still riding that high.

A Workout Built for Winter

We kicked off the night doing what we do best—moving together.

The Winter Stoke workout was designed with snow sports in mind, focusing on strength, stability, and conditioning that translates directly to days on skis, boards, skates, and snowshoes. Expect deep leg burners, core work for control on variable terrain, and conditioning that mimics long days chasing powder.

Whether you jumped in to sweat or cheered from the sidelines, the workout set the tone: this was a night about showing up, pushing a little, and supporting something bigger than ourselves.

Why Protect Our Winters (POW) Matters

The outdoors gives us so much—joy, challenge, clarity, community. Protect Our Winters exists to protect those experiences for generations to come.

POW mobilizes the Outdoor State™—175 million people who recreate outside—to advocate for science-based climate policy. At the Winter Stoke-Off Party, every raffle ticket purchased helped support that mission. Thanks to this incredible community, we raised over $1,000, which Experience Momentum will proudly match, doubling the impact.

Community Partners Who Brought the Stoke

The night wouldn’t have been what it was without an incredible lineup of partners who showed up with generosity, enthusiasm, and heart.

Kuma Coffee kept us fueled with thoughtfully sourced, expertly roasted coffee that proved essential for both workouts and conversations.

SheJumps brought their signature energy and sense of belonging, reminding us how powerful it is to create space for women and girls in outdoor recreation—and leaving us with an inside joke that will live on well past the event.

Kula Cloth contributed practical, sustainable gear that will keep those lucky winners better prepared—and more Leave No Trace–friendly—on their next trip.

Our next door neighbors at Fremont Brewing kept the good times flowing with local beverages, reinforcing what it looks like when community supports community.

And Crystal Mountain rounded out the raffle with a generous donation that had everyone dreaming of turns under Mount Rainier.

Raffle Tickets With Real Impact

The raffle table was stacked, but the real win was what those tickets supported. Each prize represented a shared commitment—to safer mountains, inclusive outdoor spaces, climate advocacy, and local businesses doing things the right way.

A huge thank you to Crystal Mountain, Black Diamond, Hellbent Brewing, Protect Our Winters, SheJumps, Kula Cloth, the Seattle Torrent, and others who generously donated to our raffle prize lineup—helping raise both the excitement and our highest donation total yet.

Gratitude for the Crew Behind the Scenes

None of this happens without an incredible team.

Huge appreciation goes out to the Experience Momentum team and our partners who coached the workout, sold raffle tickets, tuned skis, ran games, and created an atmosphere that felt welcoming, energized, and intentional from start to finish.

Carrying the Stoke Forward

The Winter Stoke-Off Party was more than an event—it was a reminder of what’s possible when community comes together around shared values. We moved, we laughed, we learned, and we raised meaningful support for organizations doing vital work.
